Interface: where land meets water

Solo exhibition 1-30th October at Nairn Community and Arts Centre

Interface shows painted interpretations of places where land meets water and reflections abound. Often transitory, these interfaces twist, blur and vanish with wind, tide and seasons. Whether sea, river, loch, puddle or pool a still day can deliver engrossing distortions that carry ones observation and thought to a more spacious and creative realm. Like many people I am drawn to and lifted by water in its many manifestations. Interface is a celebration of the fleeting imagery – often distinctively Highland - that reflections and muddy meeting places can be.
